The Drogo ring is made from a 316 Stainless Steel or Grade 5 Titanium and paired with carbon fibre for the exterior. The Drogo is quite a thick ring with a slightly domed finish.
316 Stainless Steel is hypoallergenic, corrosion resistant, high in strength and very durable. It is most commonly used in construction and infrastructure.
Grade 5 Titanium is hypoallergenic, corrosion resistant, extremely tough and light. It is commonly used in demanding applications and is widely used in the aerospace industry.
The Drogo ring is named after Castle Drogo near Exeter. Castle Drogo is a country house which was the last castle to be built in England. Commissioned by Julius Drewe, a retail entreprenuer who established `The Home of the Colonial Store` which made him a millionaire by the age of 33.
